Depending on your treatment will determine the duration of your visit. On average, IV drips can last anywhere from 15 to 90 minutes. IV injection shots can be completed in minutes.
Shots and injections are given with the direct supervision of Dr. John LaLonde and our experienced, nursing staff will administer your IV Vitamin Therapy treatment. Each treatment protocol will be designed and approved by Dr. LaLonde. Treatments are painless, and entail a swift pinch as the needle enters the vein. Most patients state that they hardly feel any discomfort at all.
Frequency depends on your hydration needs and your choice of IV therapy. Our nursing staff will discuss which options are best: weekly, biweekly or monthly treatments and devise a total wellness plan right for you.

Side effects are rare and usually minor. Some side effects may include: Bruising and soreness around the injection area, cooling sensation in the arm, a metallic taste in the mouth and/or a brief flushed feeling. Less common side effects include a risk of infection or an allergic reaction to the treatment. All side effects are short lived and completely treatable.
